Orange HTC Desire Black Edition Confirmed

Black HTC Desire Orange Exclusive Availability Confirmed for April, to Join White X10

A couple of weeks ago we gave you a heads up that Orange had acted to confirm that it would carry an exclusive white version of the Xperia X10 and now, in a bid to once again set itself apart from its network rivals, Orange are set to offer an exclusive version of the up and coming HTC Desire in the form of the HTC Desire Black Edition (and, yes, unsurprisingly, it is indeed black).

Confirmed by Orange’s PR man Conor Maples via Twitter (see below), the black Orange HTC Desire will be offered exclusively by the network in the UK with its availability set for late April, thus following on from the standard gunmetal version of the HTC Desire which is set to hit Orange at the beginning of next month.

This is a real shame. Orange plaster their phones with ugly branding ruining amazing phone designs.

If you were looking for an exclusive design it would have been better if it was O2 offering it.

Before buying one of those I’d say it’s worth checking out photos (or checking the real deal) to see what the phone you receive will actually look like, not the unbranded ones that are used for marketing the fugly thing
