Dell Continues To Lower Zune HD Prices [Pick Up A 32GB Zune HD For $199 Or 16GB Zune HD For $149 At Dell Home]

Those interested in the Zune HD may want to check out this latest offer coming from Dell Home. Both the 32GB and 16GB models of the Zune HD are currently on sale and they are coming with a decent savings. In other words, aside from waiting for another price drop, now seems like a good time to pick up either model.

As of this posting, the 32GB Zune HD is listed with a price of $199 and the 16GB Zune HD has a sale price of $149. Both are pretty nice sounding, especially when you consider that Microsoft is selling these for $269.99 and $199.99. Yup, by shopping Dell Home you can pick up a 32GB Zune HD for the same price that Microsoft is charging for the 16GB model. Of course, that Microsoft price is the Zune Originals pricing, so by shopping Dell you are forgoing any customization. But personally, I would rather save some money and not have the engraving and customizations.

Additionally, a quick search of the web is showing that other online retailers are selling the 32GB Zune HD for around $240 and the 16GB Zune HD for around $170. That means a savings of around $40 and $20 for the 32GB and 16GB Zune HD respectively.

All things considered, the Dell Home pricing is pretty nice, and even nicer considering just last week they were priced inline with those other online retailers at $240 and $170.

And now comes the part where people jump in and comment about how bad the Zune is and how much better the iPod is. Well, I for one will go on record as being a Zune fan and Zune HD user. Hey, a beautiful looking display with a small, thin and lightweight body combined with 32GB of storage space and an available subscription based music service. What’s not to like? Of course, that is not to say the iPod is bad.
