Apple’s Steve Jobs & Google’s Eric Schmidt Spotted Together in Neutral Location

Giants War Gets Postponed as CEOs Steve Jobs & Eric Schmidt Meet for Friendly Coffee; Plan to Conquer the World Not Revealed Yet

Normally we wouldn’t care all that much about who meets who in the tech business. We’re not paparazzi to trail CEOs and we wouldn’t do it anyway. In fact we’ve found the pictures below while surfing the web and since these two CEOs definitely deserve some special attention we brought them to you to see what’s your take on their meeting.

I am talking of course about the two people in the picture below. They appear to be Steve Jobs, Apple’s well known CEO and Eric Schmidt, Google’s equally famous CEO. We are all expecting them to fight for world dominance as these two giant corporations, Apple and Google, are going to go head to head on multiple fronts.

So what’s the deal with this friendly coffee we see here? Assuming that indeed we are looking at Steve Jobs and Eric Schmidt here and it’s not all a well planned joke by some lookalike actors, we’re definitely wondering how come they’re meeting like this in the open. Are they still friends? Is the Apple vs Google conflict just something invented and fueled by the media?

Wouldn’t it be a lot easier to meet for coffee someplace where people don’t see them together? After all, these days everyone has a featurephone/smartphone with a built-in camera that can take fast photos and record videos. In fact both CEOs are actually helping such phones spread around the globe as we speak.

Apple and Google are already competing in the smartphone business, computer business, Internet browsing business and pretty soon in the search business. They have very different, but very similar products and they are both two very dependable and useful companies to the tech environment we’re living in. The fact Steve Jobs and Eric Schmidt meet up for friendly coffee in Palo Alto can only suggest that we won’t see a full blown conflict erupt between the two companies any time soon. Or are we drawing the wrong conclusions here? They don’t look like they’re declaring war or anything like that, are they? In fact they seem to be plotting something there, but what is it really? These words have apparently been overheard, not that we’d have anyway of confirming everything:

They’re going to see it all eventually so who cares how they get it.

While I’m waiting for your thoughts on the matter I will also ask myself how come Steve Ballmer was not invited to the show? Or was he the one to snap the picture?
