MacBook Pro, iPhone 4G & iPad Questions All Answered by Steve Jobs Via Email
It looks like Apple’s CEO has plenty of time to answer emails from fans and customers regarding some of Apple’s most famous products: MacBook Pro, iPhone (4G possibly?) and iPad. In fact we’ve already seen similar reports according to which Steve Jobs himself clarified iPhone tethering to iPad and Google Picasa usage on the the tablet.

I don’t know if the fact that he did answer to those particular questions convinced other people to write back to him but today we heard about some more of the responses he sent from his iPhone OS 3.1.2-running handset.
The first question we will show you concerns the future of MacBooks and MacBook Pros. Steve Jobs was sent an email in which a concerned citizen asked whether Apple was focusing on the iPad too much compared to the MacBook and MacBook Pro lines. Steve Jobs apparently replied this: “Not to worry.” So are the new MacBook Pros coming in the following weeks? Word on the street is that retailers are getting fewer and fewer current models so the refresh we’ve been talking about is surely on the way.
Next up is the iPhone. A customer is asking whether the iPhone is getting a universal mailbox and Steve Jobs went on to say this: “Yep.” Not a lot, but definitely something. Sure we’re not talking about the iPhone 4G in particular here but rather about the next OS version.
Another fan was interested whether the iPad could handle Google Docs and whether he will be able to transfer them to the device through iWork or iDisk. Steve Jobs again replied with a single but reassuring word: “Yes.”
So we might not have all the details you want to find out about the next-gen MacBook Pro, the iPhone 4G or the functionalities of the iPad yet, but it looks like the future is bright, at least for Apple fans interested in any of these devices.
What about you? Have you emailed to Steve Jobs yet?
