Lenovo ThinkPad Edge 14 & Edge 15 Notebooks Join The Business Class Lineup [ThinkPad Edge 14 &15 Notebooks Come Sporting Intel Core i3 & i5 Processors]
Lenovo has recently added two new additions into the current ThinkPad Edge lineup of notebooks. The new models include the Edge 14 and the Edge 15, both of which are aimed at the small business market and join the previously available Edge 13.

Feature wise both models come sporting 2.13GHz Intel Core i3-330M processors, a 6-cell battery that is said to offer up to 4.5 hours of run time, Wi-Fi, four USB ports, one USB/eSATA combo port, a 7-in-1 card reader, 34mm ExpressCard slot, integrated fingerprint reader, built-in webcam and a built-in dual layer DVD optical drive.
As for difference in the two models. The Edge 14 comes with a 14 inch widescreen HD LED display and a weight of 4.9 pounds. The Edge 15 has a 15.6 inch widescreen HD LED display and weighs in at a slightly higher 5.5 pounds.
Both systems come running Windows 7 Professional and have starting prices of $649. Though that starting price is noted as being a sale price with a regular price of $869. No mention was made as to how long these would remain at the sale price. Other features that are shared between the Edge 14 and 15 include a multitouch capable trackpad, spill resistant keyboard as well as an option to add a backlight. Additionally, the Edge 14 and Edge 15 have options to add up to 4GB of RAM, up to 320GB of storage space and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR.
Also, just to recap, the Edge 13 features a 13.3 inch widescreen HD LED display, Windows 7 Professional, three USB ports, a 5-in1 card reader and a weight of 3.6 pounds. The Edge 13 can also be purchased with a 1.5GHz AMD Athlon Neo X2 dual-core processor for $579 or a 1.3GHz Intel Core 2 Duo SU7300 processor for $799. The Edge 13 also lacks the built-in optical DVD drive as well as the fingerprint reader.
Finally, all three systems, the Edge 13, 14 and 15 are currently available with Lenovo.
