Novatel Wireless Unveil The NovaDrive, A Cloud Based Storage Service
One of my favorite devices, and also the one that keeps me productive when out and about is the MiFi. Here in the US you can pick one up with either Sprint or Verizon Wireless. The MiFi devices are identical (aside from the exterior color) between both carriers and should you decide to pick one up, the ultimate decision about which carrier to choose should be nothing more than the one that offers better coverage in your area. Now, aside from the ease of being able to get access to a 3G network, the MiFi will also allow users to access the Nova Drive.

The NovaDrive is a new offering from Novatel Wireless and is aimed specifically at MiFi users. Though, that aside, if desired non-MiFi users could also sign up and use the service.
What the NovaDrive service offers is unlimited cloud based storage. Of course, that unlimited storage does come with a little notation that says it is subject to their fair use policy. Anyway, moving on, customers will be able to share, synchronize, encrypt, back-up and store files. Those files can later be accessed from almost any Internet connected computer as well as mobile phones using the special mobile website.
As for security, the NovaDrive is packing 256 bit encryption, is completely password protected and can only be accessed through a registered NovaDrive dashboard. Additionally, the NovaDrive service also offers TheftGuard, which will allow you to remotely destroy the files on a lost computer. You can even track the laptop using Google Maps.
Those interested are able to sign up and get a free 30 day trial. As for the cost after the trial period ends, $15 per month. Or if you were looking for more of a long term commitment, you can also opt for a yealy subscription (with 2 months free) for $180 or a two year subscription with 5 extra months for $360.
