iPhone 4G Coming to T-Mobile This Winter/Next Spring? [T-Mobile USA Said (Again) to Carry Apple’s iPhone by the End of the Year or Early in 2011; Is It the iPhone 4G?]

This is not the first time we hear that T-Mobile USA is going to get the iPhone at some point later in 2010. In fact we did talk about this incredible move last year at a certain point in time when the iPhone was rumored to arrive either from Verizon or T-Mobile this year.

The problem for Apple is AT&T when it comes to increasing iPhone sales. What I mean to say about their cooperation is that both companies have already cashed in on the iPhone. Chances are that current AT&T customers that don’t want the current iPhone models will not be that interested in upgrading to the iPhone 4G either. Furthermore the current state of the over clogged AT&T network might convince others not to switch from their favorite carrier to AT&T in order to get the iPhone.

So Apple should definitely try to bring its handset to everyone else in the U.S. I am sure that a lot of Sprint, Verizon and T-Mobile loyal customers would be more than interested in getting the iPhone but we’ll look forward to hear from them in the comments section.

Cupertino has already experimented in other important markets like Canada, UK and France where the iPhone is available from more than one carrier as exclusivity agreements have either expired or been discontinued as they were against the law (France).

What makes us say the iPhone is coming to T-Mobile late this year or early next year? Well it looks like Rene Obermann, CEO of Deutsche Telekom, the mothership that controls T-Mobile USA, apparently said that the iPhone is coming by the end of the year but for now the carrier is focusing on Android smartphones.

What’s particularly interesting is that he did not mention what iPhone versions are coming to T-Mobile but I’d think it would be safe to assume the iPhone 4G will be included in the offer. We’ll be waiting anxiously to see whether the iPhone does indeed come to T-Mobile USA later this year or if it was all just a misunderstanding. Of course, Steve Jobs might get all mad that Obermann spoke to the press like that and change his mind.

So what about Verizon and Sprint? Do you think the iPhone will be available from all the Big Four carriers in the USA a la Google Nexus One style?

Well if you look at it from a broad view, T-Mobile doesnt operate necesarilly with what the 4g will need GSM and etc.. but the most probable carrier either than att, is definately T-MObile Or Sprint and that seems like the battle as verizon is stubborn to update to modern material and will go no further than the android.

I enjoy T-Mobile service. Coverage areas seem to work well with very few dropped calls. AT&T service plans are too costly and I’ve heard that their service is not that dependable, even though their service plans are expensive. For the consumer, being able to obtain iPhone service plans from more than a single carrier which has a monopoly on the iPhone would force competition and lower monthly service prices and no doubt would improve service. If Apple wants to increase its market share, they are fools if they don’t expand the iPhone market to carriers other than AT&T. For inventors who can develop a product as sophisticated as the iPhone, it would not be rocket science to expand it’s market to additional carriers. My immediate family would be getting iPhones for Christmas, and I’m certain this sentiment is shared by families across America.

I have wanted the iPhone for YEARS. I am a very loyal T-Mobile customer and I get to the point of jumping out of my seat anytime there are rumors about the iPhone expanding to other networks. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Apple, do it this year!

I have been using a Blackberry Curve and would like to switch to an I-phone but didn’t want to leave T-Mobile as I have a 5 phones on their plan. I would switch 3 of the phones to an I-phone is a heartbeat if T-mobile would start carrying them.

I have had a jailbroken iphone on tmobile for two years and would jump on the 4G model if it came to T-mobile. It is such a pain to unlock the phone every time apple comes up with a new update and it locks the phone. And would really love to have at least a 3G data working instead of edge. So if its Verizon or T-Mobile and the plan is right $$ count me in for at least three iphones.

I think that the iphone is going to go to tmobile. Tmobile has been releasing everything from new phones to now there 4g network which is now the biggest 4g network. Verizon doesn’t have a 4g network and there pricing for there plans isn’t as good as tmobile and think about it the iphone has a pattern on naming the iphone it started out as the iphone then the iphone 3g then the iphone 3gs and the iphone 4 now they will probably do the same thing and make the iphone 4g the iphone 4gs and then maybe and iphone 5 and so on and why would apple go to verizon when they don’t even have a 4g network? I have also heard that tmobile is also getting iphone/ipod accsesories already!

Please!!! I’ve been waiting for the Iphone at T-mobile for years. Since the First Iphone. T-mobile has unlimited Data plans compare to ATT.

I”m waiting for Tmobile to get an IPhone. I’ve had Tmobile for 8 years, service is great, $ are very nice. Only problem, If Tmobile does get the Iphone, will lots of ATT customers come to Tmobile and over crowd the system and repeat the ATT problem on Tmobiles system? Any ideas out there? Anyone? Anyone?

Well looking at the pictures, that just looks silly… That isn’t even apples logo. Well the actual apple is accurate, but apple does not circle their logo in any products. This is defiantly a fake drawn up in Photoshop. Apple also has strict guidelines on thier widgets, and those logckscreen widgets would not be included on any stock firmware… Sorry guys!
