Virgin HTC Desire Release Set for April
Few would have doubted from the outset that HTC had a winner on their hands concerning the HTC Desire (HTC’s own branded version of the Nexus One) and now, just to underpin this further, Virgin Mobile have just confirmed that they are set to carry the HTC Desire (making them the sixth network to do so).

It won’t surprise many that Virgin Media have acted to pick up on the HTC Desire (right after Vodafone confirmed they’ll be carrying the HTC Desire also) as Virgin are clearly acting to embrace the Android platform whole-heartedly, what with having already confirmed that it’ll carry the likes of the Xperia X10, the Samsung Galaxy Portal to add to the already available LG Intouch Max.

There’s no confirmation at this juncture as to how much the HTC Desire will set you back on Virgin Mobile (or, for that matter, the applicable monthly tariffs) but, with a rumoured launch of sometime next month, those interested in snagging the HTC Desire smartphone courtesy of Virgin won’t have long to wait to find out (though we will, of course, update you here the moment the Virgin HTC Desire’s pricing is made available to us).
