Samsung Jet Ultra Primed for O2 Release

Samsung Jet Successor O2 Exclusive Availability Confirmed

It’s now been confirmed that the successor to the Samsung Jet, known as the Samsung Jet Ultra, is set to become available exclusively on the O2 network within the next couple of months (as yet no specific date has been confirmed).

The 3G Samsung Jet Ultra, which measures in at 108.9 x 53.5 x 11.9mm and which runs the TouchWiz 2.0 UI, is powered by the same 800MHz processor as the original Jet and comes with a 3.1” WVGA (480 x 800 resolution) AMOLED touchscreen display, a 5 megapixel camera with dual LED flash, 4x digital zoom and both Smile Detection and Blink Detection technologies, and as well as offering broad social networking support.

Coming with integrated WiFi and Bluetooth wireless connectivity as well as USB and TV-out posts, the Samsung Jet Ultra, which comes with 2GB of built-in storage capacity and a microSD card slot (allowing you to add bolt-on additional capacity up to 16GB), is set to hit O2 within the next couple of months when it’ll be bundled with ‘a set of three classic gangster DVDs’ (don’t ask us why).

The O2 Samsung Jet Ultra will be free based on a £25 per month tariff though, at this juncture, quite how long you have to sign up for has not been specified.
