Google Gesture Search for Android 1.6 Phones Confirmed
If you have an Android 1.6 based phone and you’re still bemoaning being left out in the cold with respect to Google’s Gesture Search functionally, which was announced back at the beginning of the month, you can now take solace in the fact that Google have announced a new version of Gesture Search for Android that takes in Android 1.6 versions and above (yes, you are now invited to the party).

The new iteration of Google Gesture Search still only recognises the English language, but, according to the official Google Blog, this new, updated version of Gesture Search does come with enhanced performance and a series of bug fixes – so, as long as you’re English speaking (regardless of where you are from) its worth getting, even if you already have the previous version.
The updated version of Gesture Search is available to download as of now via the Android Market.
