Diamond Studded iPad Yours for a Cool $20K

iPad Tablet Already Gets Bing Treatment, Looks Flashy, Still Lacks Flash (Not a Hint of Irony There)

Personally I’ve never been the greatest fan of blinged-out gadgets – as regular readers will know, I find the whole idea of encasing gadgets in precious metals or encrusting them with gem stones wholly crass. But if blinged-out gadgetry floats your boat, and you happen to want to avail yourself of an Apple iPad, perhaps you’ll want to hold back on pre-ordering your Apple tablet just for now as you’ll soon be able to order a diamond encrusted iPad from Mervis.

Mervis Diamond iPad

Yes, if you want a particularly flashy iPad (that still won’t have Flash – not a hint of blissful irony there), this Mervis Diamond iPad could fit the bill nicely thanks to boasting 11.43 carats of diamonds hand-set in a ‘micro-pave styling’.

Available to pre-order now with shipping set for June 1st, the Mervis Diamond iPad which, thankfully, will be offered in ‘very limited quantities’ (one is not limited enough as far as I’m concerned), will set you back a cool $19,999.

A dressed up, sub-par tablet that looks utterly crass – I’ll take two.
