BlackBerry 9900/9930 Slider Smartphone Spotted Strolling to Sprint? [We Want to Believe in BlackBerry 9900/9930 Sliders’ Existence & Santa]
I don’t think you missed any of the BlackBerry slider talk in the last couple of weeks, did you? I mean even if you hate BlackBerry phones you still should respect them since they happen to be a worthy adversary in the mobile business.

In fact it looks like BlackBerry phones are about to get even hotter particularly with the introduction of a new BlackBerry smartphone concept. We’ve seen plenty of leaks concerning the upcoming BlackBerry slider and we really want to believe RIM is working on it as we speak. Because if it isn’t then we can only wonder what hot handset will RIM launch later this year.
According to today’s rumors the slider smartphone from RIM will be called the BlackBerry 9900/9930 and it will be heading to Sprint, at least initially. Naturally, if Sprint is getting it then I’m sure that Big Red will be lurking in the shadows also interested in a CDMA-flavored slider from RIM. But what will Verizon do if this BlackBerry slider proves to be a Sprint deal only?
And then there are reports that say the slider, packing both a touchscreen handset and a full QWERTY keyboard, will come with both CDMA and GSM support which would make it ready for other U.S.-based and international carriers.
The rumors go further to suggest that the slider has failed in diagnostic testing four out of five times which is certainly troubling. We wouldn’t want to buy such a phone that fails in tests, would we? But hey, these are just rumors for now and we totally count on RIM to be able to deliver a great slider in the near future.
We don’t have any more leaked BlackBerry slider pictures to prove our point so we’ll be looking forward for more leaks from the people that are close to this kind on information.
