Apple iPad Keyboard Dock Shipping Late April [Pre-order the iPad Keyboard Dock Now, Getting it Later Than You Thought]

By now you probably already know that the iPad pre-ordered like hotcakes. You may also know what are your options to get yours if on the other side of the Atlantic. What you may not know is that you’re going to be stuck with the onscreen keyboard for a while, as the iPad keyboard docks won’t reach your doorstop any sooner than mid-April. That’s according to the Apple Store who lets you pre-order one right now but can’t make any promises regarding a shipping date. Which is frustrating, as other accessories do come on April 3rd, together with the slick tablet.

For those who can’t remember it, the iPad keyboard dock is a home base that will work both as a charging dock for your device and as a much needed full-size keyboard (the sleek anodized aluminum enclosure we’ve been used with) with special iPad fucntions, if touchwriting is not your thing.There’s also a 30-pin connector in the back that allows it to work with other iPad accessories, sync to your computer or connect to an electrical outlet using the USB Power Adapter.

If you don’t mind getting it mid-April, the iPad Keyboard dock is now up for grabs. It costs $69.
