JooJoo Tablet Hits FFC, Springs Some Surprises

JooJoo Packs Nvidia ION GPU, Atom N270 & 3G Card

We’ve kept you pretty well updated with the development of the Fusion Garage JooJoo tablet – indeed only yesterday Mike offered you a heads up concerning the JooJoo’s revised UI, which touts Flash support (unlike other tablets we could mention) – and now, thanks to the JooJoo hitting the FFC we can reveal more concerning just what makes the Fusion Garage tablet tick.

Of particular interest is that the JooJoo transpires to be packing a Nivida ION chipset paired with an Atom N270 processor whilst you can also factor in a 3G card – though at this juncture word is that the 3G JooJoo will be released after the initial (non-3G) JooJoo hits retail.

Set to commence shipping in only a few weeks time, few would argue that the JooJoo is shaping up to be a particularly interesting device but, of course, one has to bare in mind that the JooJoo is set to go head to head with some pretty stiff competition (namely the Apple iPad and the HP Slate – the latter of which, in my opinion at least, blows the iPad out of the water, but whether that’ll be reflected in terms of sales figures remains to be seen – its against an Apple device so, sadly, probably not).

Other details now confirmed concerning the JooJoo (yes, we’ve move back on topic here) also includes confirmed AVI, MPEG-4, MOV, WMV and WMA, FLV (Flash Video), VOB, OGG, OGM and OGV, MKV (Mastroska), DiVX and XviD file format support but there’s no word concerning battery life at this juncture – and that’ll doubtless be a key factor when it comes to you guys looking to make a call and part with necessary cash.
