HP Invests $40M in "Let's Do Amazing" Advertising Campaign

HP Trying to Build Awareness Towards Their Products With Catchy Ads

One of the biggest computer manufacturers, HP is trying to get as much attention as it can get, or make that as much attention as $40 million can get. In an effort to build awareness towards their products (anyone to bet it’s the HP Slate) and get back to people’s hearts, the company is now coming up with their first advertising campaign in the last five years.

Dubbed “Let’s Do Amazing”, starting this weekend it will be blitzing the airwaves for eight consecutive weeks, and will feature big names in show biz that includes renowned rapper and producer Dr.Dre, comedian Rhys Darby of “Flight of the Conchords” as the host of the ads, and photographer Annie Leibovitz in pitches.

So here are the two first ads we managed to see ahead of this weekend’s debut.

On a first glance, they’re funny and are doing great in keeping you coming back for more. What do you guys think? Would anything like that convince you to buy a new HP product?
