OWC have released their OWC Mercury Elite-Al Pro mini 1TB portable hard drive – a portable backup storage solution that they proudly tout as being the first ever 2.5” portable 1TB HDD sporting a quad interface.

The Bus powered OWC Mercury Elite-Al Pro mini, which offers FireWire 800/400, USB 2.0 and eSATA connectivity, additionally comes in a range of other capacities starting from 250GB, which includes a new 640GB capacity drive, sports a brushed aluminum, impact resistant enclosure and fanless design.
