Sony PS3 Arc Nunchuk Controller Rumored to Arrive This Week
With the Games Developer’s Conference (GDC) in full swing this week in San Francisco, we’re hearing rumors that Sony is gearing up to release a nunchuk-style add-on to its Arc motion controller for the Playstation3. According to ichinisan user on GAF forums (duly credited below), the guy “saw the pictures of Wand/Nunchuk”, and if he’s right, the add-on will have an analog stick, X and O buttons and a D pad below that.

But as cool as it may be, we’re afraid that’s going to cost a LOT.
Other than detailing the Nunchuk controller which is said to have two parts and be shorter than the Wii’s version, the same guy said that the wand comes with “one very big button on top”, facebuttons (X, O, Triangle and Square) and a trigger marked “T”, underneath.
What we know so far is that the PS3 Arc motion controller will be out sometime this fall, but we have no official wording regarding a Nunchuk add-on. But rest assured, the company will have more for us at this week’s press event at the Moscone Center, on Wednesday.
Looks like an interesting layout, don’t you think?
