1Cross Tech Android Tablet Revealed At CeBIT 2010
1Cross Tech, an unfamiliar name in the tech circuit, has released a new Android-powered tablet designed as a mobile internet device and an E-Reader in one. The 1Cross Tech tablet features an e-ink ebook reader on the left side of the fold and a touchscreen LCD on the right.

The 1Cross Tech hybrid tablet appears to take a bit of visual inspiration from the Microsoft Courier digital journal tablet, as well as functional queues from the Apple iPad. It is designed as a booklet device, where the two screens can be folded together like a traditional hardcover book. The left side of the device features a 6-inch, 600×800 e-ink display, where the right side includes a 3.2-inch, 480×320 resistive touch LCD. The unit runs Android 1.6, giving the unit a mobile browser and an OS to manage the units ebook collection. Sadly, the unit will not connect with the Android market at present, but 1Cross Tech hopes to add this functionality soon.
The new 1Cross Tech Android Tablet will be powered by an ARM processor that has yet to be named, as well as a 2,000mAH battery with storage provided by MicroSDHC cards. It will feature WiFi, Bluetooth and optional 3G and GPS connectivity. The 1Cross Tech tablet does not yet have pricing or ship dates, but it has been suggested that this hybrid tablet will meet the market for around $400.
