New Maingear MX-L 15 Laptop Features Full Numeric Keypad

Maingear's 15-Inch Laptop With Numeric Keypad Is A Rare Achievement

Maingear has released a new 15-inch laptop that fits a full numeric keypad into its design without over-crowding its interface.  The Maingear MX-L 15 Laptop could usher in a new trend of performance-grade laptops with numeric pads in smaller format machines.

In the past, full numeric keypads were a luxury only 17-inch and larger laptops boasted.  The new Maingear MX-L 15 laptop squeezes this keypad into a 15-inch unit, without compromising the layout of the rest of the machine’s keyboard.  Some laptop owners, myself included, won’t buy less than a 17-inch unit for this very reason– call me old fashioned, but I can’t quite stand typing long series of numeric digits on the line above QWERTY.

Beyond its numeric keypad, the Maingear MX-L 15 laptop includes performance-grade components for a well-rounded media and gaming experience.  It features up to a 2.66GHz Intel Core i7 dual-core or 1.73GHz Core i7 quad-core processor, an ATI Radeon 4570 512MB graphics processor, up to 8GB DDR3 RAM and up to 512GB of solid state storage.

The Maingear MX-L 15 laptop is available now, starting at $999 and climbing pretty fast once you start adding those quad core and SSD options.
