Acer Predator G7750 Gaming Desktop Official at CeBIT 2010
Announced back in January and scheduled for a debut in Japan in February, the new Acer Predator G7750 gaming desktop PC is now making its official appearance in Europe at the CeBIT 2010 tradeshow in Hannover. A powerful beast meant for hardcore gaming, as you probably know the Predator G7750 run on an Intel Core i7 processor with TurboBoost and hyper-threading technology, which means that it can be overclocked to handle eight processing threads at a time on four cores.

While a bit different than what we first reported on, under the alien-looking cover there are up to 12GB of RAM, up to 8TB of storage (four serial ATA drives in RAID 0, 1, 5 or 10 that can be accessed on the fly), and either an ATI CrossFireX GPU or Nvidia SLI — both sporting enough punch for an amazing video experience.
Other specs include a rewritable DVD and an optional Blu-ray drive, while if you were wondering if the beast will throw flames on its nastros the answer is no as it comes with a liquid cooling system that promises 5.7 years of continuous operation. Connectivity wise there are six USB slots, two eSATA and two LAN ports.
Oh and if you were wondering, the new Acer Predator G7750 is, indeed, suited for 3D gaming and should work quite nicely with the Acer 3D monitor and the NVIDIA 3D vision kit, but be advised, this little monster won’t come in cheap when it starts selling in May.
