Sony VAIO M Netbook First Details Emerge [Sony VAIO M to Tout Atom N450 CPU, 10.1” Widescreen Display – Set to Oust the VAIO W?]
First details concerning the latest up and coming netbook in Sony’s VAIO series have emerge, confirming that the Sony VAIO M – which is thought to succeed the VAIO W – comes with an Atom CPU and a 10.1” LED backlit display.

At the time of writing we’re yet to see a full spec sheets, but of what details we have it appears that the Sony VAIO M netbook, which will sport a 10.1” 1024 x 600 resolution 16:10 LED backlit display, comes with a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 CPU (paired with Intel GMA 3150 graphics) under the hood whilst, in terms of other details, it’ll also pack 1GB DDR2 SDRAM, a 250GB 5400rpm hard drive and, regarding connectivity, it’ll boast 802.11b/g/n WiFi as well as Bluetooth 2.1+EDR.

Aside from these core components the Sony VAIO M will also come with a built-in Webcam, VGA and audio in/out connectivity and it’ll also offer up a Gigabit port for those that don’t have wireless network capabilities.
No word as yet concerning either pricing or expected drop date but reports suggest it’ll be made available for pre-order imminently.
