New BlackBerry Storm3 Pictures Get Leaked

Remember that BlackBerry Storm3 slider smartphone we showed you yesterday? Well how could you forget it? It’s either terribly horrific or very sexy depending on how you feel about such a hybrid BlackBerry device.

It looks like we have more BlackBerry Storm3 slider pictures for you today and they look pretty genuine so far. Naturally we still can’t confirm any of it yet since RIM is not talking yet on the matter. On the other hand if the leaks come straight from the handset maker, then RIM is doing a great job since it’s definitely going to get a lot of feedback on such a concept phone.

Whatever RIM’s marketing strategy may be, we now hear a different rumor saying that the Storm3 in the picture here is actually part of the Bold line. Is that something that we want, folks?

I’m not exactly the greatest BlackBerry fan in the world but I do admire their unique smartphone designs. The Bold 9700 is probably one of their best handsets made to date, and my personal favorite, and it even surpasses the Storm models in my book. And while I’d have no problem seeing a slider Storm3 in the future, a slider Bold3 feels kind of awkward.

Let’s not forget that just a while ago the BlackBerry Magnum, also a hybrid touchscreen/QWERTY keyboard phone has been spotted and even captured on camera. The Magnum looks more like the next-gen BlackBerry Bold than the slider we’re looking at today.

The Magnum hasn’t been confirmed either but if we are to believe all these rumors than it appears the next RIM handsets are going to use touchscreen displays. In theory this touchscreen/QWERTY combo should work in our advantage and improve our whole BlackBerry experience.

We’ll just have to wait and see what traditional BlackBerry users think about this new and unconfirmed RIM initiative before we draw any conclusions. Hit us up with any related BlackBerry slider information you might have! We’d really want to see where this is all going.
