First details concerning HP’s up and coming HP Elitebook 8740w have hit the net courtesy of a purported leak which confirms that the Elitebook 8740w is certainly set to pack a considerable punch in terms of both processor and graphics options.

According to the aforementioned leak reported by HPFansite, duly credited below, the HP Elitebook 8740w will sport a 17” display with users being given the option to upgrade to a full HD Dreamcolor 2 display whilst, under the hood, the HP Elitebook 8740w will pack a choice of Intel Core i7 and Core i5 processors – specific details offered below – whilst, in terms of workstation graphics solutions the Elitebook 8740w will again come with a range of options taking in the 1GB GDDR5 ATI FirePro M7820, Nvidia Quadro FX3800M and Nvidia Quadro FX2800M.
