iPhone 4G Concept Shows Off Lots of Colors [This Is Not Apple’s iPhone 4G But We’d Like It to Be]

Considering the current environment in which we have Microsoft Samsung and Nokia preparing for new mobile platform launches, Windows Phone 7, bada and Symbian^3; RIM and Palm rumored to make touchscreen/QWERTY keyboard hybrid and WiMAX handset, respectively; Google getting ready for the future of Android and of its own phones and Apple legally fighting against Nokia and HTC, we’re even more interested to see what the iPhone 4G will look and feel like.

The new Apple phone scheduled to be unveiled later this summer is expected to set new standards for the mobile business. While LG is making the first Windows Mobile 7 handset and Motorola is launching Android phone after Android phone, the iPhone 4G is definitely going to influence smartphone manufacturers in the near future. Or at least we hope the new device will be a breakthrough phone and not a mere update.

And while we’ve seen already plenty of iPhone 4G concepts we’re still a long way from getting the first official pics of the new device. In the remaining months we’ll probably see even more rumored iPhone 4G pictures and we have one more interesting such batch of fresh images for you.

As you can see in the images here the iPhone 4G is hinted to offer a larger touchscreen, possibly AMOLED, display, 5-megapixel camera with flash and 2-megapixel front-facing camera, better speakers and 32GB to 64GB storage space upgradeable via microSD cards. This iPhone 4G should also be available in more colors not just the regular black and white we’ve been used to.

The renders here certainly suggest that the designer is quite the iPhone fan as s/he has put a lot of effort into this project. Hopefully so will Apple and the next-gen iPhone will definitely impress us even if we are or aren’t Apple iPhone fans.

What’s weird about these new iPhone 4G concepts that pop around the Internet is that they all suggest new shapes and sized for the device. Although it has been hinted before that the next iPhone will be slightly taller, won’t Apple want to keep a design that has proven to be so successful so far?
