SteelSeries Debut 6Gv2 Gaming Keyboard
At this year’s CeBIT in Hanover, Germany, the folks from SteelSeries have tried to get the eye with their new 6Gv2 gaming keyboard. Influenced by the award-winning SteelSeries 7G keyboards, the new 6Gv2 model is designed with 18-karat gold-plated mechanical switches, and although it looks like any other keyboard, we’re being told it delivers quicker reaction times and advanced key combinations.

But what does that mean? It means you’re getting “as many simultaneous key presses as there are keys on the keyboard”, so just imagine playing Modern Warfare and being able to move, crouch, aim, fire and even check the scoreboard, simultaneously. Wicked, eh? Other than the above, the new SteelSeries 6Gv2 gaming keyboard is also said to allow easy access to volume, mute and audio controls.
“We’ve been watching professional teams such as Fnatic, SK Gaming, Evil Geniuses and others win grand slam tournaments with the 7G as their weapon of choice and have seen it recognized as one of the most impressive performance keyboards on the gaming market. Keeping that rockstar mentality, we designed the slimmed down SteelSeries 6Gv2 to pack the same punch without compromising response time, durability or performance,” said Bruce Hawver, SteelSeries CEO.
Like what you’re seeing, well the SteelSeries 6Gv2 keyboard can be yours soon as they’re available for pre-order on Amazon. MSRP is $99.99.
