Opera 10.50 “The World’s Fastest Browser for Windows” Available Now [Opera 10.50 for Windows Says It’s Better than Everyone Else; We’re Not Impressed by Simple Words]
The Internet browsing business is a place where a fierce battle for dominance is underway. The ever annoying Internet Explorer it’s still available out there to bother us when we least expect it but luckily for us Mozilla, Google, Apple and Opera offer worthy alternatives. Today we’re not going to talk about Firefox, Chrome or Safari, respectively, but about Opera’s latest browser version, Opera 10.50 which is already said to be “the world’s fastest browser for Windows.”

That’s a pretty bold statement opening up the official press release but we’re not scared of such a claim. After all we’ve witnessed so many companies claiming their products are the best in the world so far.
Opera Software released today “the fastest web browser thus-far produced for Windows computers” but you should always try and check it all out for yourself.
So what has Opera done for us you ask? Well they say they have redefined browsing. There’s a new JavaScript engine, Carakan, and a new graphics library, Vega, which should make everything load up a lot faster than before.
Private browsing is also included in this build and that’s a more than welcomed feature which should take care of your browsing privacy. Opera 10.50 also includes platform integration which means that Opera can handle Aero Glass, Aero Peek and Jump Lists on Windows 7 or Vista.
Opera 10.50 comes with some of Opera’s special web browsing features like Opera Turbo, Opera Unite and Opera Link which should make your whole browsing experience even more pleasant. Opera Turbo makes sure you can surf the web even at dorky Internet speeds while Opera Unite lets you share content immediately from the browser. Opera Link helps you sync data with any other Opera Web browsers or the mobile Opera Mini browser.
Before I remind you to test everything out yourself I’ll also tell you that Opera 10.50 comes with HTML5 and CSS3 support which might actually be important in the near future.
So there you have it, folks, Opera 10.50 is available already and I have one more Internet browser to play with.
