Noktor Debuts HyperPrime 50mm ƒ0.95 Lens for Micro Four Thirds Cameras [Manual HyperPrime 50mm ƒ0.95 Lens for the Passioned Photographer]
Those trying to add a new set of lens for your micro four thirds digital camera should know that American manufacturer Noktor has announced their new HyperPrime 50mm ƒ0.95 lens. A completely manual lens (yes you’ll have to rotate the collars yourself for aperture and focus), we’re being told that the 50mm focal length is effectively doubled by the M4/3 sensor to the equivalent of 100mm on a full-frame camera. And if you were wondering … they’re ultra fast.

The new Noktor HyperPrime 50mm ƒ0.95 Lens is supposedly far better than the human eye when it comes to low-light photography and cinematography — as it’s being dubbed as a near clone of a TV lens from Senko. Plus they’re much better to catching details compared to normal lens, as it lets in twice as much light.
Shipping sometime next month, the Noktor ƒ0.95 Lens are now available for pre-order asking for a good $750.
