If the Atom N470 touting Gigabyte TouchNote T1000 doesn’t quite do it for you (perhaps you’re looking for a convertible with somewhat more clout) you may be interested in the newly announced HP EliteBook 2740p tablet (actually a convertible notebook) which packs Intel Core i5 and Core i7 processors.

The HP EliteBook 2740p table convertible comes with a 12.1” mulittouch capable 1280 x 800 resolution capacitive touchscreen display and, thanks to its stainless steel finish and magnesium casing, offers military standard resistance to shock, dust, high temperatures whilst integrated HP DriveGuard technology also acts to protect the 160/250GB hard disk from damage resulting from shocks and vibration. You can also add a spill-resistant keyboard into the equation.
