For some reason we’re surrounded today by Windows Mobile and Windows Phone 7 related news. We’ve heard earlier that Windows Mobile 6.5 handsets could be upgradeable to Windows Phone 7 and we’ve also seen Skype pull its support for Skype and Skype Lite for current Windows Mobile smartphones.

In case you have just decided to install Skype on your handset following last week’s joint Verizon and Skype announcement and you happen to own a Windows Mobile handset then you’ll be unpleasantly surprised to find out that neither Skype nor Skype Lite are currently available for WinMo phones.
