Nikon to Launch New DSLR Camera on March 8, 2010?
It looks like Nikon is getting ready to launch a brand new DSLR camera. PMA 2010 might be over but that doesn’t mean we’re not going to see a bunch of new cameras unveiled later this year.

One of them seems to be Nikon’s latest DSLR model, which appears to be a very good kept secret so far. There’s a whole teaser campaign going on at this time. A bunch of French camera-dedicated websites reported receiving glossy cards with a number on one side, 8 and with some text on the other side which translates into “I am…” and “I am fun” so far.
While there no official indication that a new Nikon DSLR camera is in the works, it looks like the color match the company’s color scheme and the recipients of the cards are all Nikon users. Too many coincidences if you ask me so there’s definitely something ready to be unveiled.
Nikon has scheduled a press conference on March 8 so that’s where the new product could be finally unveiled. Until now two cards have been sent, one with the number 8 and then immediately after a card with number 7. We’re probably looking at some kind of mysterious countdown here, one that would apparently end on March 5.
Looking at the dates it all falls into place. Nikon will definitely have something hot to announce although we have no clue whatsoever at what we’re looking at. The camera in question should be “fun” since that’s probably what the card is indicating about the device.
People say we might be looking at the Nikon EVIL which was otherwise expected to arrive at Photokina, but maybe Nikon is ready to surprise us all. So what do you say folks? Are you ready for a brand new DSLR camera from Nikon?

They were very far with Canon in terms of mega pixel in 35mm market. I was proud to be Nikon owner but i love what I have now its too late to change the horse in middle of the game.
