JooJoo Tablet Shipping Delayed to March 25 [Former CrunchPad Tablet Postponed Due to "Manufacturing Issues"]
Not that we’re advising you not to go for Michael Arrington’s former CrunchPad currently known as the JooJoo tablet from Fusion Garage, but the device is still nowhere to be seen. That pretty much says a lot about how much you can trust this particular company.

The JooJoo was supposed to be arriving on February 25. However that date came and went without us seeing reports from happy/unhappy JooJoo customers pop up all over the web. That’s something really weird considering that Fusion Garage promised to ship the JooJoo within 8 to 10 weeks after pre-order.
Now if you pre-ordered your JooJoo back in December you will have to be ready for some more waiting. The device might only be available around March 25, and there’s nothing that would convince us that this time around Fusion Garage will deliver as promised.
The short press release says that due to some manufacturing issues the JooJoo will not be shipped to your door earlier than March 25. It seems that the “manufacturing issue centers on fine tuning the touch sensitivity of the capacitive screen.”
In other words, if that’s not fixed by March 25 you’ll be entitled to some more waiting. The good news is that Fusion Garage is not particularly happy about the way everything turned out so far and in order to keep unhappy customers at bay the company is willing to throw in a free JooJoo accessory “to compensate for the delay in the delivery of their JooJoo.” We’re probably talking about the $30 stand for the tablet.
I’m not sure if Fusion Garage is aware of it but Apple, its direct competitor, will start selling the Wi-Fi iPad in the last week of March. I guess it’s pretty clear who will get all the attention and the loads of cash from curious customers. Hint hint, Fusion Garage, it’s not you!
