Vodafone UK Sony Ericsson Vivaz Pre-Orders Now Accepted
At last week’s Sony Ericsson MWC 2010 press event in London, some of us from TFTS (yes, that’s Andrew) got to spend some quality time with the company’s latest handsets. And that includes the new Sony Ericsson Vivaz, the amazing Xperia X10 or the Xperia X10 Mini Pro codenamed ‘Mimmi’ — each interesting in its own way. Speaking of Sony Ericsson’s curvaceous Vivaz, we’re just hearing that Vodafone UK have announced that the handset is now officially available for pre-order on their website.

For those out of the know, the new Sony Ericsson Vivaz is a Symbian S60 device that does 720p HD video with 4x zoom thanks to an 8.1-megapixel camera on the back, features a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, has HSPA, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, and DLNA certification. Other specs include an 8GB mircroSD card slot and a a 3.5mm jack.

Back to Vodafone UK who’re going to carry the Vivaz to their customers, you’re getting the smartphone for free if you’ll sign a two year contract that will cost you £30 per month.
If you want a more detailed look at the Sony Ericsson Vivaz, check our hands-on overview from last week’s event at the Groucho Club in central Soho.
