Nokia Confirms New C-series Phones [Nokia C6 Becomes Official With WiFi & Bluetooth, Release Date Yet to Be Announced]
Nokia’s heavily-rumored C-series new mobile phones have not only been confirmed by the Finnish manufacturer, they’ve also cleared the FCC as Nokia RM-612, meaning that we’re looking at an imminent release in the US. After finding out from Anssi Vanjoki, executive vice president of markets at Nokia, just how bad the launch of the N97 went in terms of user experience, we can now say for sure that the RM-612 is in fact the up and coming Nokia C6.

Seen as a refresh of Nokia’s 6000 series and a reinvention of the Classic lineup, our initial reports are saying that the Nokia C6 will be a mid-to-high device that has Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g) and Bluetooth connectivity, quad-band GSM and tri-band WCDMA (900/1900/2100 MHz) support, along with a touchscreen (yet to be confirmed though) and a normal keypad, all packed together in a candybar form.
We have nothing regarding price or an exact release date, but since the new Nokia C6 might hit earlier than expected you can rest assured we’ll be updating you with full specs, specifications and official pictures.
