Nintendo DSi LL Coming To US March 28th
Nintendo has announced the United States launch of the Nintendo DSi LL, a larger version of its popular portable gaming device. The Nintendo DSi LL will begin shipping on March 28th for $190 each, including newly announced eBook support.

Nintendo first revealed the DSi LL last fall, showing off its larger, 4.2-inch screens and a full-size pen stylus as compared to the original, smaller Nintendo DS devices. To cash in on the buzz about e-reader devices that were all the rage at CES 2010, Nintendo has added eBook support to its Nintendo DSi LL system. While books will likely be available for purchase and download, the eBook system will not operate as a downloadable app, but will require a DS cartridge when in use. Users can then flip the device on its side and view it as a standard book with two open pages.
The new Nintendo DSi LL will begin shipping on March 28th for $190. The e-reader system will ship later, with a 100 Classic Books title arriving on June 15th that will show off the DSi LL’s reader chops. With a device directed ad adult users, the addition of eBook support seems like a clear win for Nintendo.
