MSI Debuting GT660 Gaming Notebook [Gaming Notebook To Feature Core i7, NVIDIA Graphics, Unknown Screen Size]
MSI will be showing off a lot of new products at the CeBIT trade show in Germany, coming up in just a few days. A lot of their offerings we’ve seen before from various outlets, but we’ve just learned about a previously unknown product – a new gaming notebook dubbed the GT660.

MSI just recently unveiled two other gaming notebooks earlier this week, the GX640 and GX740, but from what early specs have been released on the GT660, it’ll take the top spot in MSI’s notebook offerings.
Full specs have yet to be announced, but it will back a quad-core Intel Core i7 processor. For mobile graphics, it’ll have a discreet NVIDIA GeForce GTX 285M. As you can see, it’ll pack a fair punch. A few extras have been included, like it’ll come with USB 3.0 ports.
The keyboard will also come with what MSI is calling “LED lighting” which will “enhance the user’s experience”. They’re saying it’s pretty revolutionary, but haven’t said much outside of that. We’ll have to wait for news to come out of Hanover to get the full scoop.
As for the looks of the notebook, it’s pretty decent looking and looks to be a 15-inch screen, but MSI hasn’t confirmed this. No word on pricing or a release date, all of this will be confirmed at CeBIT but this GT660 will be expensive, heavy and will probably consume a lot of power.
