iPad Coming to Best Buy; to Sport PowerVR SGX Graphics [iPad SDK Reveals New Features as iPad Demand Rises Past Original iPhone Demand]
In case you missed reading iPad-related news here on TFTS then I shall bring you all the latest rumors regarding the upcoming tablet from Cupertino. February is almost over and we’re just a month away from seeing the device in Apple store all around the world.

Initially the Wi-Fi iPad versions will be found in stores while the 3G-enabled iPads are coming only by the end of April. And it looks like the device won’t be available just in Apple and AT&T stores. Just as suggested earlier this month the iPad will be available in Best Buy locations and other retail locations that happen to receive Apple’s assistance will also get it. This is not a rumor anymore as it has been officially confirmed by Tim Cook, Apple’s COO, at the Goldman Sachs annual tech conference in San Francisco.
That must be good news for future iPad customers that will want to get the device. An RBC/ChangeWave new survey says that more people are interested in buying the iPad now, compared to the initial iPhone interest. Since the original iPhone became a hit product we can only assume that the iPad will also sell very well.

And news regarding the iPad keeps coming in. It looks like the latest iPad/iPhone SDK has revealed new features like a front-facing camera, camera flash and video conferencing. While we can’t be sure that the first-gen iPad will receive any of these features we’re definitely thinking that the next iPhone 4G will see some of that action.
But what has been confirmed so far thanks to the new iPhone 3.2 Beta 3 SDK documentation is that the iPad will use a PowerVR SGX chip for those amazing graphics we expect it to deliver. The iPad should offer us a better graphics experience than current iPhones and iPod touches but we still have to wait before being able to iPad graphics performance ourselves.
So are you going to buy the iPad in March?
