LG Korea have just unveiled their latest ultraportable laptop in the form of the 11.6” LG T280 and whilst, as at the time of writing, LG are yet to offer a specific date of release from the details released the LG T280 seems to be shaping up to be a pretty well-rounded, if not especially exciting, ultraportable in terms of specifications.

Due to be offered with either a 1.3GHz Intel dual core CPU (SU4100) or a 1.3GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor (SU7300), the LG T280 comes with a 11.6” 1366 x 768 resolution display powered by integrated GMA 4500MHD graphics, 2GB RAM, a 500GB capacity hard drive, integrated WiFi (802.11b/g/n) and a 6-cell battery – though LG have not offered any idea to date concerning battery endurance.

The LG T280, which runs Windows 7 Home Premium and which comes with both VGA and HDMI output – allowing it to be easily hooked up to larger displays such as monitors or HDTVs – is touted as set to retail at around the equivalent of $1,000 but, as mentioned above, LG are yet to confirm when the LG T280 will hit retail.
