Kindle BlackBerry App Released by Amazon

BlackBerry Kindle App Supported Handsets Confirmed, Allows Kindle Syncing

Following on from having previously released Kindle Apps for both the iPhone and iPod Touch, Amazon have now released their BlackBerry Kindle App which allows users of supported handsets – we have a list of supported BlackBerry handsets below – to purchase and read e-Books on their devices as well as to sync your BlackBerry App with your Kindle (assuming you own one).

The newly released BlackBerry Kindle App, which is available for free, unfortunately only supports latter BlackBerry handsets, but coverage of newer BlackBerry devices is, at least, extensive, with the following specific models being represented:

  • BlackBerry Curve 8520
  • BlackBerry Curve 8900
  • BlackBerry Bold 9000
  • BlackBerry Bold 9700
  • BlackBerry Tour 9630
  • BlackBerry Storm 9500
  • BlackBerry Storm 9530
