AT&T LG Arena with FLO TV Release Date & Pricing Confirmed [LG Arena with Mobile TV Set to Hit AT&T Next Week]

It’s official, the mobile TV touting LG Arena touchscreen phone, which utilises an S-Class 3D UI, is set to hit AT&T with online bases sales commencing from next week – though, it has to be said, its confirmed pricing may prove somewhat of a turn off for many.

ATT LG Arena with FLO TV

The LG Arena with FLO TV tuner, which allows end users to watch subscription, based over-the-air TV programming – on its (pretty restrictive) 3” display – may offer up some keen features such as GPS, 5 megapixel camera, integrated WiFi and, of course, an S-Class 3D UI, but its far from being a smartphone so we’d suggest that the price of admission, which comes in at a lofty $200 based on a two year contract (and that’s after applying a $50 mail-in rebate or online discount, folks) may see many a potential taker decide to look elsewhere (at an iPhone 3GS, for example).

Of course if access to mobile TV is that important to you then perhaps you’ll be prepared to overlook the high price tag and fork over the required coinage, but, really, for those of you for whom FLO TV access (with the further monthly outlay involved) isn’t a biggy then we’d suggest common sense would prevail and you’ll go get yourself a smartphone.

If, however, the LG Arena with FLO TV does it for you then you’ll need to know that you can pick up the handset via AT&T online from 26th February or from retail outlets from 7th March (which, let’s be honest here, gives you plenty enough time to come to your senses).
