T-Mobile UK Confirms BlackBerry Storm2 Availability

Vodafone UK Loses Exclusivity Rights Over BlackBerry Storm2, To Start Selling on T-Mobile

Now that Vodafone UK no longer have exclusivity rights over the BlackBerry Storm2, another UK carrier, T-Mobile, is ready to debut the powerful smartphone to their customers. Five months after being introduced in the UK (October 2009), the BlackBerry Storm2 will now become officially available for free on T-Mobile, as long as you sign a two year agreement for £35 per month.

The £35 per month will get you 600 minutes, 500 texts, unlimited internet and BlackBerry internet included on your new Storm2.

For those out  of the know the new BlackBerry Storm2 would be T-Mobile’s first full touchscreen BlackBerry. It  packs a 3.25-inch display and a 3.2-megapixel camera with flash and video capabilities, comes with built-in GPS, 3G and WiFi connectivity, 2GB on board storage expandable up to 32G via a microSD card slot.

Knowing that Vodafone is going to focus on Android handsets more than ever, the BlackBerry Storm2 reaching their shores, sounds like a really good deal for British customers who’re looking for a powerful touchscreen smartphone for both “business and pleasure”.
