Samsung R430 & R530 Notebooks Begin Selling
Samsung has just added to their notebook collection with two new models, the new Samsung R430 and the R530. Announced late last month, both the 14-inch R430 and the 15.6-inch R530 are now available from Amazon in the US for a decent price and from what we’re seeing decent specs too.

The new Samsung R430 runs Windows 7 Home Premium on an Intel Core 2 Duo T6600 CPU that clocks in at 2.2GHz. It features a LED backlit display (1366 x 768 HD resolution), integrated Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics, 4GB of DDR3 RAM, a 320GB HDD and a DVD burner along with a powerful a 6-cell battery, a built-in web camera, numeric keyboard, stereo speakers. Other specs include WiFi, Ethernet, three USB ports, HDMI, VGA, and a memory card reader — all packed in a 4.98 pounds black machine that will cost you $654.
As for the larger Samsung R530, it has the same specs and price, except for the fact that it weighs 8.6lbs and it’s available in red.
Sounds like a good deal for what they pack so it’s your call if you go for better portability, the R430, or a larger screen for better entertainment, the R530.
