AT&T Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Availability Imminent [Android-powered Xperia X10 to Hit AT&T for $199 Or Less, Release Date Speculated for April or May?]

If any of you had any doubts that Sony Ericsson’s first Android-powered smartphone is not something that could rival the iPhone, you’d apparently be wrong, or at least that’s what Andrew left me thinking after his visit to London for the Sony Ericsson MWC event where he got to spend some time with what he calls an astounding device. Well folks, it looks like AT&T thinks the same or they can see the market all hyped about the Xperia X10, which is why they’re going to carry the Swedish smartphone to their customers in a couple of months.

According to BGR who are citing some of their AT&T sources, it’s a done deal that the Xperia X10 will be hitting AT&T sometime in April or May. More to it, their source is quite sure that the smartphone will go for “$199 or lower” with a two year agreement attached.

Meanwhile take some time for a little (not that little, I reckon) in-depth view of the Xperia X10 and why we think it’s going to rock when it’s going to be available on the market.

I just saw a video on another website where they interviewed a lady at MWC who worked for Sony Ericsson and she said the release date was set for March.

I think I’ve seen it, too, but it didn’t say AT&T, right?
I think March is a release date in Europe, not the US.

    This phone looks so good.
I hope the browser’s as good as the iPhone’s.
If it is or better, I’m upgrading to this and not waiting for the 4g iPhone.

Why wait? get the unlocked version for tmobile 3G. 1700/2100. AT&T will lock this phone top to bottom IMO.
