Rogers BlackBerry Storm2 Availability Rumored in Ad
Although there’s nothing official, Rogers users should be happy to know that one of the most interesting BlackBerry smartphones ever, the Storm2, could become available with the Canadian carrier. The whole thing started when the Canadian Business magazine published an ad with the new BlackBerry Storm2 and printed in the footnote “See all there is to see with BlackBerry Storm smartphones from Rogers and other major retailers”.

Although we agree that this could be just a mix-up, in which case the magazine is to blame, no one should blame you guys to dream about it. And that’s because under the hood, the Storm2 features a 3.2-inch 480 x 360 capacitive touchscreen, a 3.2-megapixel autofocus camera with image stabilization and flash, both EVDO Rev.A and UMTS/HSPA 2100, GPS, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR and WiFi connectivity (b/g). On top of that, there’s also 2GB of built-in memory and a microSD slot for an additional 16GB, RIM’s latest SurePress technology and the new BlackBerry OS 5.0.
Of course, we agree the price for the BlackBerry Storm2 would definitely help you make up your mind, but would you pick it up on Rogers if the rumor were to be true?
