MacBook Pro & iMac Dummy SKUs Show Up in Best Buy Canada Inventory System

Just yesterday we showed you a leaked screenshot in which one could clearly see some Apple Dummy SKU placed in Best Buy’s inventory. We’re all expecting Apple to finally announce its refreshed MacBook Pro line but while there’s no official word from Cupertino officials we got a glimpse of a new similar screenshot showing more Dummy SKUs. This time around the screenshot is supposedly coming from Best Buy Canada and the rumored products are new MacBook Pros and new iMacs.

We would want to build up any more excitement around the upcoming MacBook Pros, would we? Apple might want to build as much buzz around them but, really Apple, your fans already know that a refresh is coming and most of them are waiting with cash in their hands to buy their new MacBook Pros.

As for the iMacs, we’d better stay away from them for the time being. We do remember all the troubles that come with such machines and there’s no certainty, at least for now that the issues have been solved for good. But is Apple getting ready to bring Intel 2010 chips to all its iMacs?

Thanks to some of our readers we now know that Best Buy locations have confirmed preparing for the MacBook Pro refresh while some third party retailers are currently offering various discounts on their existing MacBook Pro stock. In case you don’t want to wait any longer then there’s no reason not to take advantage of those price drops. A MacBook Pro powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo processor is still a mean machine.

Needless to say that we still need written evidence to support these claims, rumors and leaked pictures. Neither Apple nor Best Buy have released any press materials announcing the availability of the new MacBook Pros. Whether or not that happens next week or only in March, we’ll still be counting on you, folks, to tell us more about what you find out unofficially in stores about these new notebooks.
