LG Skinny Frame Plasma Range Announced

25mm Thick Skinny Frame Plasma TVs from LG Available for a Hefty Price

The reason why manufacturers these days come up with thinner TV designs with less bezel thickness, and that’s because they look much more appealing, adding a bit of contemporary to any modern environment. LG knows that hence why the company has added to their plasma TV range with the new Skinny Frame sets that only measure 25mm at their thickest point.

Although we were under the impression that the LCDs are winning against plasmas, it looks like LG still has their money on it. The new Skinny Frame plasma TVs come in either as a 50- or a 60-inch model. They bring 1080p video quality to the table, deliver crystal sharp images by boasting 600Hz refresh rate and have an automatic contrast adjustment based on lighting conditions.

On top of that the new Skinny Frame sets allow you to play photos and videos directly from your USB flash drive, which is quite cool not having all those wires in place.

Sure thing LG, we love them, except for the part where we need to shell out 1,700,000 and 3,800,000 won or some $1,500 and $3,325 at today’s exchange rate (just to be clear, girl not included). They’re definitely not as affordable as we’d like them to be, right?
