HTC Desire Pricing Details Unveiled: Pre-Order it For €419 at Amazon Germany [HTC to Sell Desire (Bravo) for €419 Without a Contract in Amazon Stores]
We have seen some impressive stuff at MWC 2010: the Samsung S8500 Wave running bada OS, the surprising and unexpected Puma Phone, the Windows Phone 7 Series, although there’s no announced WinMo 7 handset yet and the HTC Desire, formerly known as the Bravo.

The HTC Desire will be available in the UK from O2 alongside the HTC Smart but T-Mobile UK is also going to start selling it in March while Vodafone will sell the Desire and HD Mini in various European countries.
But how much would you be willing to pay for an Android device that could become more popular than the Motorola Droid and the Google Nexus One? Would you go for a brand new two-year contract from your favorite carrier or would you rather pay the full price for the smartphone?

In case you choose the later form of payment then you’ll be curios to find out how much will HTC ask for a brand new Android-powered Desire handset? And it looks like we have an almost official answer for you folks. Amazon Germany has already included the “HTC Desire Smartphone” in its inventory. And the listed price for it is €419 or around $572.
Well if Amazon Germany sells the smartphone then other Amazon portals are probably going to offer it too. So what would you rather pay? $529 for the Google Nexus One, a phone that could come with some 3G issues yet to be completely resolved? Or $572 for a brand new HTC phone that looks like a Nexus One but feels like a Desire? There’s no telling that the Desire won’t come with the same 3G connectivity problems. That’s a fair assumption to make since the two handsets are practically step-brothers.
Amazon Germany isn’t yet ready to specify arrival dates but if some carriers are going to sell the handset next month we expect Amazon to start shipping it around the same period. So, are you ready to pre-order your HTC Desire?
