Gobandit GPS HD Camera Revealed For Extreme Sport

Gobandit GPS Camera Captures And Geolocates Your Adventures

ASSIST Creative Resources has released a new camera that combines HD video recording with geolocation data.  The Gobandit GPS HD Camera records high definition video for adventurers with the ability of tracking their exploits via GPS.

The Gobandit GPS HD Camera is intended for athletes and adventurers, providing a system of tracking an adventure with GPS while recording HD video.  The video playback can show an overlay with a GPS route map, the speed of the user in the video and other position-related data.  The camera can be mounted to a helmet, to a bike handlebar or it can be held in your hand, and the GPS will track your location over time as you record video.

The Gobandit GPS HD camcorder records 720p video which is stored on the unit’s internal 2GB of storage.  It supports SDHC, allowing up to 32GB of storage for your sporty recordings.  This Gobandit camera will begin shipping in April for an MSRP of $470.  While the addition of GPS is a cool feature for extreme sports-minded users, we’d prefer to put the added cost into a higher resolution and greater storage count.
