BlackBerry Curve 8530 Coming to MTS in Canada
It looks like Canadian carriers are doing their best to make their customers happy and are looking at options to bring the best from BlackBerry’s new smartphone lineup. Following Rogers who’re rumored to bring the Storm2 for their users, the chaps from MTS Mobility are going to officially announce the BlackBerry Curve 8530 to their network “shortly” — although we have absolutely no idea what shortly means.

According to the BlackBerry Software downloads site, the new BlackBerry Curve 8530 is slated for OS updates on MTS, which translated in English would mean that the device is ready for an upcoming release with OS 5.0.0.459.

For those out of the know, the new BlackBerry Curve 8530 brings a QWERTY keyboard, WiFi connectivity and multimedia capability, a 2 megapixel camera with digital zoom and video recording, a built-in 256MB of storage space and a microSD/SDHC card slot to expand with up to 32 GB more. On top of that there’s GPS support that comes with BlackBerry Maps and geo-tagging functionality, Stereo Bluetooth connectivity and HTML web browsing.
So are there any customers on MTS who’d be interesting in the Curve 8530?
