SanDisk 64GB iNAND Embedded Flash Drive Announced [iNAND 64GB Drive For Mobile Devices to Feature the Same X3 Technology, Stores Both User & System Data at a Time]
A big name in the SSD or microSD business, folks from SanDisk are now catering to mobile users who need more storage space for their smartphones or other portable devices, by releasing the new SanDisk 64GB iNAND embedded flash drives which boast twice the capacity of drives the company has been manufacturing until today.

Fast enough for storing system code, boot information or for mass storage functions that include your precious photos, music or videos, the new SanDisk 64GB iNAND flash drives have an eight flash die stack design that uses the company’s X3 technology with 32nm 3-bit-per-cell NAND flash technology that allows each cell to store three bits.
Coming in as a 16×20×1.4mm silicon gem, the new 64GB iNAND drives have a standard ball grid array (BGA) for quick integration into smartphone designs and promises to save board space and simplify the design as there’s no need for more chips — just one, for both system and user data. On top of that the new flash drives are hailed to reduce power consumption which in the end means better battery life for your mobile device.
No word when these new iNAND 64GB flash drives from SanDisk will be released or how much they’ll cost, but we’re quite they won’t come in cheap.
