HTC Desire Officially Announced at MWC 2010 [Former Bravo Debuts as HTC Desire, Looks Like a Nexus One With Flash & Sense]
For those who remember it, last week we got the scoop that the Bravo is real and that it’s going to Orange, only to find out yesterday that the smartphone is actually going to be called HTC Desire. Well it looks like HTC decided to shed some light and have officially unveiled the new HTC Desire — which by the looks of it is a Nexus One with Flash support, the company’s fresh new Sense user interface (with Friend Stream) and a bit less Google love.

Specs have confirmed, too, and the HTC Desire brings the 3.7-inch AMOLED touch-sensitive display (480 X 800 WVGA pixels) we were talking about yesterday, the powerful 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and Flash 10.1 support.
The biggest drawback however, the new HTC Desire will be “broadly available” throughout Europe, Asia and Australia sometime in the second quarter, which means that US customers are not that lucky to get their hands on it although we know for sure it’s quite high on your gadget lust list right now — so there goes our rumor concerning a Verizon release in the upcoming months.
No word who’ll carry the HTC Desire in Europe, but I have a feeling the battle is going to be fierce as we’re looking at a really powerful smartphone in here.
